Andrej Meniga has graduated cum laude from Zagreb University School of Dental Medicine in 1980 as the first in his generation. He made his MSc and PhD in the field of dental materials and technology. Since 1994 he works in a general private practice in Zagreb, and from 2000 to 2005 he was honorary associate professor at the Department of Restorative Dentistry, as well.

Dr Meniga has a long experience with both operative and restorative implant dentistry, since he has been using different implant systems such as IMZ Friatec, Brånemark, Lifecore, Straumann, Nobel Biocare, IMTEC and Ospol since 1987. He attended numerous implant courses and congresses in Sweden, Denmark, USA, Canada, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Ireland, Spain and Belgium.
In 2004 he became one of the first Nobel Biocare mentors for Croatian colleagues, and in 2006 he was elected President of the Croatian Association for Implant Education (HDEI). He is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). In 2007, together with Dr Andrija Bošnjak, PhD, he founded Meniga & Bošnjak LLC, a company which offers periodontal, implant and prophylactic services.
